Our London Trip by Max B and Jack Mc

The day we had all be waiting for had finally come, THE LONDON TRIP!!!!! PING PING PING! We sprang out of our beds fueled with excitement! We rushed to get ready and ran to our cars. We arrived at Preston Train Station earlier then we expected and before we knew it we were all on the platform (our school and St Peters and Pauls) rearing to set off for a tremendous trip to London! Our seats were phenomenal and RESERVED!

We chatted away, making the time fly incredibly ''You have arrived at London Euston'' is what the speakers said. From the station we jumped onto the underground tube for a dizzy and rocky trip to come out at Embankment and then we strolled along to the River Themes bridge, which was amazing! On the other side - after a brilliant walk - was the London Eye! Right next to the eye was a man blowing humongous, colorful bubbles, we were closer and more excited.

We had what felt like an everlasting walk to the tremendous Rainforest Cafe! We had high expections and we were not let down because the food was excellent! We all felt brilliant and couldn't wait for parliament! Tons of realistic, robotic animals surrounded us and there were some massive real fish.

We went on a great walk through St James's Park, after we saw Buckingham Palace, the flag was up, so the Queen was in residence!!!

We walked through The Mall, which was beautiful. Behind the huge gate was the Horse Guard Parade, through that gate was a large street with Downing Street's entrance on the Prime Minister was in questioning!

We quickly sped along to the Houses of Parliament and it felt very special to be there as it was so respected. We even got to see the Autumn Statement, when Philip Hammond (The Chancellor of the Exchequer) was talking about money politics. It was quite hard ti understand but after a whilewe figured out what it was about. After the statement we did some debate questions and games with Seema Kennedy (Our Local MP) it was very entertaining, we thought about what we would do in real life debate situations.

We left the building, had a quick play-around on a wooden playground, and drifted to the underground (which was extremely quick as usual). We sprinted for our train in a hurry, but disappointedly the train was DELAYED! We sat on another train for over 1 hour eating eating our delicious lunches and we were given drinks and polos from the train staff and Mr Ballard. The train was repaired and we had a tiring journey back to Preston, and even though out train was really delayed, it didn't ruin the fantastic experience for all of us.
