Our London Trip by Noel and Rob

Date: 29th Nov 2016 @ 10:49am

On the day of London (Wednesday 23rd November) we had to wake up really early in order to get to the train station for 7:45am. Once we were on the train at 7:58am everyone settled with a minor bit of silliness, until we set off.

As soon as we arrived, everyone put down their cards and was jumping with joy. We got off the train and went to step foot on the tube (underground). When we were on the tube, everyone that wasn't sitting down went flying and fell over. Four stops later we arrived at Embankment. Going up the escalators we got all of the draft. We went to see Cleopatras needle, later we walked through the park to see Buckingham Palace. Photographs later, we arrived at the rainforest cafe.

Walking through the streets we all were watching street acts. After our viewing of the Autumn statement, we had out tour of parliament. Buzzing with joy we met Seema Kennedy for the second time, We chatted about a story that was just like the suffragettes. Before long, it was time to leave parliament and make our way back to the station. We found a park for a quick play on the way and said our final farewell to the capital.

At the station we were told there was going to be a delay. We ate our tea on a different train that was not moving. This was for one hour and ten minutes. We got back on our normal train for a safe, exciting journey home. We finally arrived home at 10pm and it was lovely seeing our families again.

What a great trip that was.... but VERY exhausting.
