Hens come to Mawdesley St Peter's

Last weekend, three young hens arrived at school! The children have named them Nugget, Tweed and Sebastian.

One of the hens has started to lay eggs and we are getting 1 each day.

The children are all involved in looking after the hens and their welfare.
