Early Years Education

We are really lucky to have Class One, which consists of just our reception children. The Reception Class has dedicated teaching from Ms Canning and Mrs McClean who is part of the Class One teaching team. We are happy to include a welcome video and tour of the reception class area for you to view. 

We aim to provide the highest quality care and education for all children, giving them a strong foundation for their future learning. 

We create a safe and happy environment with motivating, creative and enjoyable learning experiences that able the children to become confident and independent.

The children learn by investigating and exploring and take part in Forest School on a weekly basis. This is led by Mrs McClean our trained Forest School Teacher; a snapshot of which can be viewed on the video. The children are encouraged to think creatively both inside and outside the classroom in adult led-activities, continuous provision and in the outside play area,  including a vegetable patch and gardening area.
