Mere Sands Woods

Date: 21st Jun 2016 @ 10:37am

On Tuesday 14th June our class went to Mere Sands Wood for our new topic 'Hunted' which is about different habitats. On this trip, we did den building, woodland, sculpture, pond dipping and a meadow sweep.

The meadow sweep was about catching bugs and finding out what they were and what they do.

In pond dipping we were given nets and we had to put them in the pond and try to catch something living. Then we had to identify what they were.

In woodland sculpture we had to find materials to build a natural sculpture.

In den building we had to build a den with all the sticks we could find.

We had a great day and learnt lots of new things.
