School Uniform

School Uniform

School dress is economical, hard wearing and practical. Parents are asked to dress their children in the prescribed clothing as it makes school important to the children, gives the school an identity and encourages a pride in their school.

All the major items of dress can be purchased from a shop called Badgers of Heskin.

The school is now offering a Fairtrade uniform choice. All Koolskools school uniform is made with Fairtrade cotton in ethical factories and at affordable prices. Parents can buy online on the following link: https://www.koolskools.co.uk/product-category/mawdesley-st-peters-primary-school/

  • All clothing MUST be named, P.E. kit should be kept in drawstring bag marked with the child’s name. This is kept in school and sent home every half term.

Cloakrooms

There is limited space in the school cloakrooms and therefore we request pupils to have a slim school book-bag  & NOT a rucksack.

Wearing of Jewellery

Staff cannot be responsible for valuables, therefore parents are asked not to allow their children to wear jewellery in school, both for safety and security reasons There have been serious accidents with pierced earrings and necklaces, therefore, it is safer if these articles are left at home. If an item of jewellery is broken or lost this can lead to distress and an unnecessary waste of teacher and pupil time.
